The enclosure is built for our newest line of Rachio 3 controllers (it is also compatible with our 2nd generation Rachio controllers). Not only will addition protect your controller from both rain, snow and wind, but is also lockable to prevent theft.

Weatherproofed For Outdoor Use - Rachio’s enclosure is fully weatherproofed for outdoor use and the box is equipped with a security tab for a padlock. The sprinkler box features both hardwiring and outdoor outlet options.
Compatibility- Custom-designed enclosure fits either the Rachio 3 or Generation 2 Smart Sprinkler Controller. Box includes an ingress protection (IP) rating of 54.
Fast & Easy Installation - Fast DIY installation in 30 minutes or less with a Rachio smart sprinkler controller.
Rachio Look And Feel - Your system enclosure will have the full Rachio look and feel on the front cover.
An electrical pigtail is required but not included with this enclosure. Please contact a local irrigation professional to install your controller if you are not comfortable performing electrical work.

This makes life so much easier, rather than having one without Wi-Fi. It was so very easy to install. It is compact. One thing I would suggest.......the face cover is held on with not so powerful magnets. The cover falls off with the slightest touch........I solved that easily by putting a piece of Duct Tape just across the top and down on the cover. This works perfectly as a hinge. There is plenty of space to do that. Also, when one opens it, flipping it up, there is enough angle that the top remains against the wall, allowing you to do whatever you need to do without the top flipping down again.
