Join Don Adams as Maxwell Smart (aka Agent 86) of the original Get Smart TV series in The Nude Bomb! Agent 86 is assigned to battle an evil villain who is threatening to drop a “nude bomb” capable of destroying all the fabric in the world. With only 48 hours, some voluptuous assistants, and his questionable spy skills to help him, Maxwell Smart certainly has his hands full trying to save the world from severe nakedness. Directed by Clive Donner (What’s New Pussycat?) and featuring a hilarious cast that includes Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuelle), Rhonda Fleming (Inferno), Dana Elcar (The Sting), Pamela Hensley (Rollerball), Norman Lloyd (Saboteur) and Vittorio Gassman (Big Deal on Madonna Street). The Nude Bomb is a hilarious spoof that is sure to leave you in stitches!Special Features:-Audio Commentary by Sledge Hammer! My rating isn’t for the movie itself, but for the quality of the release. Having owned the original DVD release (not to mention the complete original series and the really awful follow-ones), what really drew me to buy this release is the wonderful Alan Spencer commentary. The background of why the movie ended up as it is really helps to enforce all the more the challenges that Don Adams had in carrying it as only he could. The quality of the release is really great. Besides the remastered picture, there is a wealth of bone material sure to satisfy any Smartie (quality of the script notwithstanding). A truly excellent addition for any collector of Get Smart media. The negative review here really puzzles me, did that person just buy this movie blindly without knowing the history of the series and everything that followed after? Did he love the 2008 massacre?By the way, the title to this review is taken directly from Spencer’s commentary.
