I absolutely LOVE this book! It would be excellent for anyone thinking of farming or any farmer thinking of changing things up a bit. It offers a ton of very practical information. I have used some of the equations in the back to formulate our own feed for our poultry that costs us half what we were paying the mill and uses ingredients we are happier with. It gives ways for you to do at home forage testing so you can get your farm in great shape! Healthy grasses/soils make for healthy animals and more profits for you! It also has some info about fencing and structures and different ways to configure paddocks of intensive grazing. Really a great resource. I can't count how many times I have referred to this book.
