I'm 5'3 and 140-145 lb and typically a size 4-6 and ordered a medium. Fit was to be expected with the cut actually flattering through the hips and thighs. I was concerned that the fabric would be cheap and partially see through due to the cost and was actually surprised. The pants have a decent stretch and the fabric appears to be opaque. I bought them for Halloween and actually love them. The only issue I have is waist band fabric over a spandex cord so the fit at the waist is slightly unflattering but a shirt can easily cover that.
