The part worked exactly right. For $10.00 it repaired my waring blender. No leaks, and now the blender has a tight fit. Use gasket for blender also. One thing everyone should know, if you live in a PO Box and primary address location, use both on your account address information page. Amazon is not doing a good job since it became public getting both addresses. When anything that is being sent out by 2nd or third party, and goes out USPS, it goes to your PO box at the post office, not to your front door from UPS. I had to wait over a month to get the part, because amazon did not have my PO Box, with my physical address together when sent out. This has been a problem with many of people for years Amazon.
