I had an A2500 from back before they had the RFIDs in them and it was great! I decided to upgrade for some dumb reason and this thing has been a thorn in my side ever since. For one thing, even when you align the little arrows on the personal blender cups, sometimes it just will not recognize them. That means that my blender is dead. It won't do jack. So I have to pull apart the cup, wipe the top of the cup, go through all manner of rituals to try to get the RFID reader to recognize the cup, move the ingredients to a different cup to try again. . .Oh I'm sorry, did you mean for those ingredients to be blended while frozen? Oops, they are thawed by the time it decides to work. . .And when that's not an issue, the thing is shutting down due to some error or other. And when I say shutting down, I mean it's not coming back for 30 minutes to an hour. You can unplug it, you can put a fan on it, do what you like. You're not getting whatever you needed from that blender until it's good and ready to attempt again.What I need is a mechanical device that will crush and blend on demand. Not the latest in AI technology that shuts down every other time I need it to work.
