I have over ten of these installed to control baseboard heaters around my house, connected via Zigbee to Home Assistant (second pic is my custom dashboard) so that I can automatically turn their set points up or down based on room occupancy (based in turn on motion sensors). I also have both the 3000W and 4000w versions. They are easy to install as they do not need a neutral wire, just two wires that can be connected in either polarity, and the Zigbee pairing is straightforward. The display is always on but dims based on room brightness so is not distracting at night. They also have variable power so rather than just bang-on bang-off can provide continuous control. Via Zigbee, you can also monitor power consumption and heating status. The only thing I don’t like about them is the ugly tree logo on the display (bigger numbers and/or power bar would be better) but I can live with it.
