I owe Flyrivergo an apology! I have been looking at the box for too long, afraid to put it together and not making a timely review. When I first opened the box, it looked complicated and I saved the project for later. In reality it took five minutes, and they include a very nice magnetic Philips screwdriver to make things easier.You only need to unpack it, screw the scale part to the stand, open it up, and attach and plug in the power (mine was already charged, but it says you may need to charge it).Pro tip: put it together on your kitchen table or an elevated workbench. You need to get under the head to screw it to the stand. If you open it up first, and put it on the floor, it's very hard to do. I realized this too late. The top folds down easily though, should you also make this mistake,I tested the unit with a few different heavy and light items. It seems accurate with both light and heavy items. It has some functions for setting pricing and adding and removing items, I may not need them, but if my shipping needs change, it's nice to know it can do professional calculations and handle complicated fulfillment.
