I have been buying this blender model for years. In fact, this one I just ordered is a backup for the one I currently use. My previous blender lasted for about four years and I use it every day for a protein shake. It is the only one I have found that is plastic and holds 56 ounces. I also like the wide base of the bowl. I feel that it blends better than the narrow ones.
