They are decent sponges, great for the price. They do expand when wet, the picture shows the size difference. They absorb a ton of water so you really have to squeeze it out... a lot. If you don’t the sponge feels slightly more dense. The bounce reminds me of the real techniques sponge. It’s definitely more dense then a name brand beauty blender, but it still has a nice bounce. The shape is nice. I will enjoy using this in my rotation but I do not see it becoming one of my must have sponges. (I actually paid for this and did not receive it for free in exchange for a review!)
