This Anthter Blender will probably surprise you. It certainly was a delight when I picked up the heavy box and discovered that the weight was from the processing jar and the blender body. Heavy jar, heavy duty mighty motor that can hold the red line for as long as it takes.The real bully of the counter top will have you singing, five hundred smoothies, Five hundred malteds, bananas and berries peaches and cream. This is the dream machine. You can to create healthful drink concoctions of your own design at home far away from the beach.I followed the worthy advice in the book and washed and sanitized the device before using. I thought that it was a conscientious move by a Chinese manufacturer to advise to take extra care around the elderly and infants when preparing food in this blender. Of course most folks know that all appliances should be sanitized before use. NONE THE LESS THE SUGGESTION FOR COMPLETE SANITIZING WAS APPRECIATEDFOR ONE REASON OVER NONE.Always disconnect this appliance before cleaning to avoid the subtraction of digits.Do not immerse motor unit in water. Clean the blender jar in any way in which you are most accustomed.Do not use abrasive sponges or other harsh cleaning tools on blender body. Just wipe with soft cloth or toweling that has been dipped in warm to hot water with a mild detergent. Sponge soiled areas with another towel and gently wipe dry, I got some goo on the blender right away and had to clean it up a bit for the mus shot. (See image of the Bully of the Countertop)This blending beast has a supersized motor of two HP and I believe it.I tossed in two bananas a cup of milk, two tablespoons of malted milk powder, a teaspoon of real vanilla and one apple cored and sliced into smaller segments. Locked the lid in place and turned on the action. I increased the speed as the process progressed. In less than twenty seconds I had a delightful drink. In fact I had no recipe just an idea to try out the blender with items on hand.My next task will involve the final preparation of classic Vichyssoise Soup.I don't have a hand blender so I will have to break the process down to one portion at a time.I am very confident that for a serving of four that this powerful blender and handle the task in less that two minutes.This Anthter Blender is showing me excellent performance so far and that is why I am planning for the future. I have had it in use for only a couple of days and I am getting the hang of making healthful good tasting drinks and other unique personal medleys.Powerful Fantastic Variable Speed:I prefer powerful blenders over the juice machine Idea. That is where in some machines you throw away the pulp and with it a third of the nutritional value. If you are going to do that why not eat that whole orange or grapefruit?This powerful incredibly fast blender is the better mechanism for a healthful daily modus operandi for the preparation of all viable foods.As you can see from the image the blender is tall, too tall to fit under my counter space shelf that holds my Microwave oven. That probably will not be a problem for most kitchens. I live in a shoebox. That means when I take something out to use it, I have to put something else back in storage and so forth.However, the blender will stay where it is with my other choice appliances. They are the ones that I use daily that I use daily.If some other alien appliance should seek a space upon my escritoire my Blender Bully will make them think twice with five hundred smoothies, five hundred malteds, because my Anthter professional Blender is for keeps.As you might gather I am in a good mood because I really like this blender.It has become a faithful friend and is another welcome addition to my limited workspace.Therefore, without reservation whatsoever, it is Five Stars all the way for this indispensable kitchen appliance.
