I use one at work, love it so much purchased one for home.The scale is very easy to ready and use. I sell on eBay and find calculating shipping very accurate.Well the scale stopped working after owning it for less than two months. I wasn't using it heavily. Maybe less than 20 uses. Do not buy. Even fresh out of the box getting it to just turn on took many attempts which is unclear why. It has a total of 3 buttons so it's pretty self-explanatory. Just appears to be so poorly made that it gave up the ghost so quickly.excellentI started with this scale for measuring my morning coffee - I use a French press and weighing the grounds and water is a straightforward way to know that you have the right ratio. While the scale never conked out in its daily use, everything about it is lacking. While AA Eneloops will fit, it does take a bit of finagling to make sure the contacts are seated. The auto-off is truly annoying if you're focused on preheating water on a kettle first and accidentally leave the press unattended on the scale. And as far as accuracy? Well, you're only getting to within a few grams, and putting a nickel on the plate (an exact 5g mass, at least for modern nickels) gets anywhere from 4 to 6 grams depending on how the scale is feeling that day.It requires 4 AA batteries. I put them in and tried turning it on. Nothing happened. Then I could smell that something was burning. I opened the battery case and the thing was smoking. Imagine that. 4 AA batteries cause something to start smoking. what a complete waste of time and money. It didn't work for a single second.I bought this scale less than six months ago. I used it half a dozen times. Today before I put a parcel on the scale to weigh the meter read -1.1. I replaced the batteries with fresh AA batteries twice. Several times I checked and double checked that I have the batteries in correctly. It won't turn on at all. This item is worthless.
