I actually dropped it right out of the box upon opening and it survived and works perfectly... I took a chance on this purchase but the name brand portable blenders I had been getting kept burning out. I'll give this one some time before I update my review but so far so good. I do wish it had a USB typescript charger I stead of the micro usb.
