I have used other colors of Craft Smart acrylic paints on both plastic and plaster, painting model people, buildings, landscapes, etc., and I have found these paints to go on every surface very smoothly with no streaking and with no unsightly brush marks. Brushes clean up quickly and thoroughly in water. The paints adhere well with fast drying and no peeling.The photograph shows a model railroad caboose that came in a bright red color, but which I wanted to turn into a backwoods caboose for a logging company railroad. The roof shows the shade of gray that this Craft Smart color produces. I was after a look that suggested a black tarpapered roof that had bleached out from exposure to sunshine, rain, wind, etc. I did have to use about three coats to cover the factory-painted red completely, but I rather anticipated that and had no problem applying multiple coats. Thanks to the fast drying of the Craft Smart paint, multiple coats could be applied in one leisurely sitting. Because the roof of this model was perfectly smooth, I initially worried about leaving visible brush strokes, but that did not occur. The paint smoothed out beautifully.I am thoroughly satisfied with all the Craft Smart acrylic paint colors that I've used and intend to rely upon them for future modeling projectsWorked great
