I bought this lock because I got tired of using a key on our front door. The installation was easy. You have to download an APP for your cell phone to install the many features. The only problem my wife had was with the fingerprint setup. It took the print, but failed when she went to use it to open the door. I believe it's because of her nails. You have to place your finger on the reader exactly as the setup. It worked fine for me so I believe it's her nails. You can also open the lock with a four digit code and also with a key. Overall I am very pleased with the product. I have not linked it to Alexa yet, so I can't comment on that feature.
